We recently achieved the Sainsburys Bronze mark Sainsbury's Bronze Markwhich means we're delivering good PE, there are a variety of after school clubs that are actively taken up by many pupils, we're entering a variety of inter schools competitions and we are providing competition within school.

The Football league team are currently top of the league table and have a match coming up in the quarter finals
Mr Chipman teaches a different year group table tennis every Thursday afternoon. Year 2 had a thoroughly enjoyable time doing it last half term and year 3 have just started!
Year 5 recently had a hockey coach from Bradford Hockey Club in, providing high level coaching.

Change 4 Life club is due to start soon during lunchtimes with Miss Whitford. This is a chance to keep children active and engaged in exercise.
The Chance to Shine Cricket Project has started in school where talented cricketers participate in weekly sessions, coached by Mark Jobling from Yorkshire County Cricket. The aim is that they will be able to join cricket clubs in the near future. Year 6 visited Yorkshire County Cricket Ground to have a tour, learn more about the history of cricket and cricket in Yorkshire and learn how to play the game. They will do sports journalism work at school and include the visit to the cricket ground.
Year 5 are also currently taking part in Bikeability where they are learning how to ride bikes and how to ride them on the roads safely.
